Public Narrative in Political Campaigns, August 2024
The Annual Community Meet 2024 brought together community organizers from around the world. Attendees were inspired by speakers who shared their experiences and insights. The event fostered connection and collaboration among participants, leaving them motivated to continue their work in their own communities. Watch the recordings of these two events here.
Public Narrative in Political Campaigns (Political Organizing Series #2), August 2024
During this session, we discuss how transformative organizers communicate on a values-level, whether they are talking to voters, volunteers, or donors. We brainstorm how our Stories of Self, Us, and Now can be used to build the power needed to get our candidates elected, and then practice adapting our own stories to specific campaign scenarios such as knocking on doors.
