LEADING CHANGE ACADEMY PROGRAMS

Designed for newcomers—civic, advocacy, or grassroots organizers, nonprofit staff, and executives. This level equips you with a solid foundation in coaching and the five leadership practices: Public Narrative, Relationships, Team Structure, Strategy, and Action.
Orientation to Organizing
A dynamic 3-hour introduction to the five core leadership practices of the People, Power, Change organizing framework. Learn from real campaign case studies, engage in interactive discussions, and connect with organizers from around the world.
Public Narrative Workshop
A transformational, practice-based workshop (1 - 3 days) focused on crafting and delivering your own narrative that articulates why you are called to leadership (Story of Self), what values connect us as a community (Story of Us), and why we must take action now and how to act strategically (Story of Now). Gain the skills to inspire others, mobilize your community, and lead with purpose.
Organizing Workshop
An intensive, experiential training (3 - 5 days) that takes you deep into Public Narrative, Team Formation, Relationship Building, Strategy, and Action. Guided by expert trainers and coaches, you’ll leave with real-time feedback, a practical campaign plan, and the confidence to implement your campaign on the ground.
Designed for intermediate to experienced organizers, campaigners, nonprofit staff, volunteers, and graduates of entry-level workshops. This level focuses on “Building Coaches” and those who want to take their craft to the next level. It equips you with deeper skills in narrative, campaign strategy, team building, theory of change, power mapping, and integrating leadership coaching into your organizing work.
Leadership Coaching Program: Narrative Track
An immersive, hands-on 8-week program that trains you to coach others in crafting their Story of Self, Story of Us, and Story of Now—a core leadership practice in building people power. Develop narrative fluency through interactive weekly practice, peer feedback, group work, and mentorship from experienced coaches—gaining the skills to support movements, inspire action, and create real impact. After the program, participants put their skills into action by coaching entry-level participants at a two-day full-narrative workshop.
Leadership Coaching Program: Organizing Track
A practical, rigorous 8-week program that builds your capacity to coach others in the core leadership practices of the People, Power, Change framework: coaching, relationship building, team structure, strategy, and action. Through weekly practice, group work, and real-time feedback from experienced coaches, you will acquire the strategic tools to support teams in navigating complexity, sustaining momentum, and driving measurable change.
Public Narrative II: The Empathetic Bridge
Once you’ve learnt to tell a basic story that articulates your motivation (Story of Self), establishes a value-based connection with your people (Story of Us), and creates the urgency to act (Story of Now), it’s time to take your narrative to the next level. The Empathetic Bridge is about enabling others to recover their capacity to make mindful choices in moments of crisis or disruptive change, such as loss, difference, power imbalance, or sudden change
Designed for experienced coaches who are ready to become trainers and educators. This level builds your capacity in teaching, facilitation, and training others in the People, Power, Change framework
Training of Trainers (TOT)
An advanced, highly interactive 3-month program for experienced coaches ready to step into trainer roles. Hone your facilitation skills and build confidence in a fun, learning environment while practicing how to deliver the People, Power, Change pedagogy with clarity and intention, creating transformational learning experiences for organizers and leaders worldwide.
