Skill Practice Session on Campaign Metrics and Snowflake Structure (October 2025)

The Annual Community Meet 2024 brought together community organizers from around the world. Attendees were inspired by speakers who shared their experiences and insights. The event fostered connection and collaboration among participants, leaving them motivated to continue their work in their own communities. Watch the recordings of these two events here.

What we count—and how we count it—matters in organizing. To evaluate and adapt our campaign strategy, we need to know how to count our successes. Through metrics, we can measure success in how we’re developing leaders, functioning collectively, and achieving our goal. In this session, participants were guided through the process of formulating a snowflake structure via a metrics journey that grounds us in who our people are and helps us identify how many leaders we need—and where we need them—to reach our campaign goal. We also explored effective campaign structures so that we can make mindful decisions in developing structures that support our strategy of winning and building people power.

This session was led by Mais Irqsusi, Executive Director of Leading Change Network.
