Hope in Action: Climate Justice Organizing in the Global South

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing our planet, but it doesn’t affect us equally.

That’s why we’re hosting our first-ever session focused on climate justice organizing happening in the global south, where the impacts of the climate crises are felt most acutely.

Together with the LCN Climate Justice Group and AktivAsia, we’re bringing together climate justice organizers and activists from across the global south and beyond to share stories of hope and resistance, and explore challenges unique to the context, such as restricted civic spaces, scarcity of resources, and questions around centering the most marginalized to achieve a just transition.
