Introduction
In this multi-part series, we will review the learnings around how to leverage the affordances of accessible technologies to train organizers and trainers in the practice of distributed leadership. These learnings are pulled from the FICPFM People, Power, Change fellowship and beyond. Within this series, we will describe how we held trainings, taught 75+ organizers the framework across distance, and what questions to ask to adapt the framework and technology to your context. Further, we explore possible ways to leverage technology after a training to maintain and develop networks. Community maintenance across distance will be discussed, and creative opportunities explored. This work builds off of that of many activists who sit at the intersection of activism and technology, as well as the broader LCN and FICPFM communities. For the full guide, including training, information, teachings on the pedagogy, and more, please visit this link: FICPFM Coaches Guide for Organizing.
