How People Power Health Propels Healthcare Professionals On Their Journeys in Activism

Abstract

People Power Health relies on the principle of relational power building to bring people together within healthcare institutions. By coming together and establishing relationships, healthcare professionals can indeed build the power necessary to affect the changes they want to see.
In this case study, we’ll explore how People Power Health has been propeling healthcare professionals on their journeys in activism by using the five practices of Community Organizing. These activities have been focused on several areas, including: Immunization, Climate Health, Voter Registration, among others.
